Age Range: 5-10 years old
Practice Time: 45 Minutes
Attendance Requirements: 2 days per week, 3 days are recommended
Meet Requirements: 2 Duel Meets designated by coach and 8 & Under’s Regional Championship Meet (1per season)

Ability Level Required

1. Knowledge of all 4 strokes (free, back, breast, fly)
2. Ability to swim 25 free and back without getting disqualified

Group Goals

1. Ability to swim all 4 strokes in a good/proper technique
2. Complete 25 of each stroke in reasonable time
3. Perform all the mechanics of the 4 strokes correctly (underwater breast pull and kick, underwater fly kick, ext.)
4. Know backstroke flag count
5. Freestyle flip turn
6. Proper racing start for all 4 strokes

Training Goals

• Compete in 25’s in each stroke, and 50 Free

Practice Schedule

• Monday - Wednesday - Friday: 5:15pm - 6:15pm
